Now celebrating 25 of operations!

Now celebrating 25 years -Iresco Ltd. started operations in the fall of 1994 with its founders, Iain Gibson and Brian Brown. Iain has over 50 years in the ‘steel business’ during that time he has owned and managed fabrication plants, worked in project management, worked with many general contractors, and estimated projects, large and small. Over the years Iresco’s detailing abilities have evolved from Strucad and AutoCAD to the more generally acceptable Tekla Structures.

Today, Iresco Ltd. believes in contracting and recruiting only the most experienced individuals available this enables us to offer a qualified detailing team. One that is more than capable of completing our customer’s requirements to their satisfaction. Iresco Ltd has just completed another successful year, and now 25 years in operation the company has grown significantly both in the magnitude of projects and experiences during this time frame

Our Team: We strive to provide our customers with the best people for the job, this means hiring and maintaining the right sub-contractors and staff. Our office is equipped and operates with a team of up to eighteen people. All our projects are done in-house.

Here at Iresco ltd. We take great pride in our work, our strong drafting group is 100% in house with many many combined years of experience. Some of our loyal employees have been with us several years many in excess of 20 years. We are a cohesive group with skills that can get your job done. Our wide range of diverse clients include both the USA and Canadian companies. We work with both industrial and commercial projects.

Our company has come through tougher times during the early 2000’s and at other downswings in the economy and thankfully we have survived thanks to our loyal clients.

We have been incorporated in Edmonton Alberta since 1994 at that time we were still drawing manually on drafting tables and using velum blueprints. Today we work and collaborate using Microsoft Teams and use Tekla a state of the art, industry standard and specialized drafting software, and you can be rest assured our software licensing is current and not pirated. Over the past 45 years drafting has evolved in many ways.
